Text Box: •Water quality samples were taken at the sources of three communities, Santa Rosita, Agua Sucia, and Rio Blanco. We are going to hold off on Rio Blanco until the new filters come in since they are better suited for communities with less access to water.
•Due to the difficulty in communicating with members of the communities, the radio is often used to send a message...and the people listen. Alejandra was on a municipality program for about 45 minutes talking about the project. Afterwards, while visiting communities, people asked if she was the one on the radio. We plan to continue to address the communities through the program. •David Cueva has replaced Teodoro as our driver/workshop laborer. He has been great, also helping us with the installations. •We had a very successful socialization in Sompopero and began installing filters on the last day of the month. The community was very responsive and almost the entire community requested a filter. •We train the community agents during the installation and for the first two communities this has worked out well. They have been very enthusiastic and eager to learn.

Comments:
We began the installation in Sompopero on the last day of the month and will finish in August.  The number of installations is low for this month due to lack of sand but we have planned at least three communities for August and have improved our sand production.
